The business administration associate degree emphasizes business fundamentals. You’ll take courses in accounting, statistics, marketing, economics, business management, and business law. In addition, you’ll have the flexibility to choose electives in business subjects that particularly interest you.
You may even earn course credit based on prior learning. Learn how to test out of courses and earn credit with CLEP.
You’ll also build business management skills that employers demand, such as strong writing, verbal communication, critical thinking, analysis, and oral presentation. In your second year you’ll have the option to work on collaborative projects with Rochester-area firms, gaining valuable real-world business experience.

The Business Administration degree is a university-parallel program equivalent to the first two years of a Bachelor's degree program. This program prepares students for majors in such areas as accounting, finance, management, marketing, human resources, economics, entrepreneurship, computer information systems, small business management, and other business-related fields.
The Business Administration Program includes business and general education courses to provide a sound background for further study and a career in business. The student will earn between 61 and 64 credit hours of coursework, which will transfer to a four-year school where the student can complete their Bachelor's degree. This degree can be completed 100% online.
(Housed in Business Administration and Economics Department).
